Even with normal DIRVE, it is quite distorted, but when you turn on the BOOST switch, you can create amazing distortion. Honestly, it's pretty distorted. We recommend using the three EQ control knobs to adjust LOW, MID, and HIGH to create a riff sound with a strong edge, or a fat, undulating sound by raising the MID. You can create quite a variety of characters with these three knobs.
