New for the 2024 season from the Ukrainian manufacturer TM "Acropolis"! A backpack for a mushroom picker with 2 wicker baskets for collecting mushrooms. The updated design and original solutions from the "Acropolis" Company will make the process of "quiet hunting" easy and comfortable for everyone.
The functional backpack is made of water-repellent material, is not afraid of moisture and dirt. It is easy to clean and dry quickly. The soft back made of 3-D mesh and foam does not press on the back, and the ergonomic straps with a chest strap ensure the convenience of movement in the forest and in the mountains. On both sides there are special mounts for a folding mushroom picker's stick (fixed at the top with Velcro straps, and at the bottom with a textile stand).
The backpack is perfectly ventilated: the bottom is made of mesh and reinforced with a strong sling. This is important, because mushrooms are picky and are better stored in the open air. The main compartment contains 2 mushroom baskets (larger and smaller) of a special shape: one side is straight, and the other is convex. This design is not accidental. It allows you to carry the product on your back for a long time.
A large wicker basket made of vine keeps its shape well, is breathable and lightweight. Equipped with 2 textile handles. In the central part of the basket, textile partitions are stretched and a plywood board is inserted. It is on it that the smaller basket fits.
You ask: “Why do we need a small basket?"
The answer is on the surface: when you walk through the forest in search of mushrooms, the large basket remains in the backpack on your shoulders, while the small one is constantly in your hand. As the small basket fills up, you pour the mushrooms into the large one. As soon as the larger basket is half full, put in a plywood partition and then put a smaller basket with mushrooms on it. If you are lucky and there are a lot of mushrooms, put them on the partition. Then the upper layer will not put pressure on the lower one, and you can still collect mushrooms in the smaller basket :)
In addition to the central compartment, the backpack also has 3 auxiliary pockets for accessories, food and clothing: two side mesh pockets and a front volume section with a zipper.
The top cover of the backpack closes with a zipper, and in the middle there is a special hole for the basket handle, which is closed with a flap with Velcro. You can carry the backpack either by the straps or by the handle. In general, all 3 elements of the mushroom set can be used together or separately.
