Install:
Firstly, remove inner door panel. Then remove the armrest and window switch bezel from the door panel. If it still connected, remove the window switch bezel from the armrest.
Second, remove the old bracket from the armrest.
There is only one small lip on the flat end of the semicircle, and the rest is flush with the piece still stuck on the armrest. If the entire bracket comes out, try cutting/making a gasket shaped piece (Approximately 0.1 "thick) to fill the space between the new bracket and the armrest.
Step Three, install the new bracket onto the armrest, ensuring placement and position. The back of the new bracket has a semicircle that should be flush with the rest of the broken bracket. This may require some additional cutting of broken brackets to obtain appropriate fit, but do not remove all flat edges as this is the appropriate fit for the new bracket.
Then, apply strong adhesive to the inner side (half circle and inner wall) of the remaining bracket inside the armrest, and place the new bracket in place. Before the glue dries, quickly unscrew the new bracket with the removed screws.
Last, reassemble the door in reverse order.
Fixing the armrest to the door panel and then fixing the window switch baffle to the combined armrest/door panel may result in better results. The frame of the window switch may need to be forcefully hit with the palm of the hand to fully embed the frame into the new bracket.
Once fully seated, you should hear a snap, and the frame should be flush with the armrest. Congratulations, you have successfully installed it.
