According to OBD or EUOBD,( the on-board auto-matic diagnosis system) plug and play.
- Judgment method:
Open and find the sticker under the hood.
lf OBD2 CERTIFILE can be installed (as shown in Figure 1)Or check whether there is an automobile diagnosis port under the steering wheel (as shown in figure 2)
(u.s. cars can be used after 2004 and most other cars after 2008.)
Applicable models in OBD2 mode:
The scope of application of OBD2 models: most of the OBD2 agreement gasoline vehicles produced in the United States after 2004, and most of the OBD2 agreement gasoline vehicles produced in other regions after 2008
OBD2 mode is not applicable to the following common models:
▲ OBD 2 models that cannot be used in the U.S. series: Dodge, JEEP, Sail, Chrysler, and models produced before 2004 and 2004
▲All French and Italian models of OBD2 cannot be used: such as: Fiat, Maserati, , DS, logo, Citroen, Renault, Simca, Amirka, etc.
▲ OBD 2 Japanese models that cannot be used: Suzuki, Mazda 3/6, Infiniti (QX50 q50 q501), 2013 Toyota avanza, Lexus (is250, ex250, ES300H) Honda (jazz, CRV) and cars produced before 2008.
▲Some Korean Kia and Hyundai models cannot use OBD models (2013 Hyundai Sonata, 2017 Kia Soul PS, etc.)
It is recommended to use the GPS mode for hybrid gasoline-electric vehicles, diesel vehicles, pickup trucks, RVs, and modified car computers.
