[Digital Engine] The micro iDSD Signature's "Digital Engine" is based on the Burr-Brown DAC chip widely used by iFi. It was selected for its natural-sounding "musicality" and "true native" architecture. Like the previous micro iDSD Black Label, this DAC chip is equipped with two DAC chips in a special "sandwich" configuration. Achieving differential operation of four pairs (two pairs for each channel) with two DAC chips lowers the noise floor and improves channel separation. In other words, it enhances its ability as a DAC and increases the resolution of details and minute dynamics. [High-Resolution Audio] High-resolution audio is also compatible with the highest formats, including PCM up to 32bit/768kHz, DSD of all levels up to DSD512, and single-speed and double-speed DXD. Thanks to the ``True Native'' design, PCM and DSD each follow independent paths, so both DSD and PCM remain ``True Native'' in their native form until analog conversion. [Digital Filter] The digital engine uses extensive jitter removal technology. It includes iFi's GMT (Global Master Timing) femtosecond precision clock and intelligent memory buffers. The micro iDSD Signature also features iFi's proprietary GTO (Gibbs Transient Optimized) digital filter. Other digital filters are available via firmware update if preferred.
