For rubber. Basically, it can be used with mouthpieces that fit Yamaha genuine ligatures (Yamaha and Selmer rubber type). Please note that it may not be usable depending on the mouthpiece model, manufacturing date, and combination with the reed. The cap is compatible with Rondino products.
Made of aluminum. It is made of a very rigid material (different from 1 yen coins or aluminum cans). There is no need to worry about accidentally dropping it.
