Really these are amazing, I suffer from a spinal cord injury and use a tenes machine for pain relief as well as morphine both slow release and instant relief pills, I am on a pretty high dosage and didn't want to go higher but pain levels mean either stuck home sitting in a recliner chair or lie in bed, doctors suggested try the tenes machine but the ones issued by N.H.S in U.K are huge and heavy compared to the ones available for purchase so I bought one only thing is that the pads are so expensive your as well buying another device when pads loose stickiness and I have done that before. I saw these some months ago and bought a trial pack now I use tenes daily several times so pads get well used. I would be paying £12.99 sterling for a pack of 4 so you can see the difference. But there is a non monetary difference too in that these pads stay sticky longer. I now have a little stock pile of them as the winter months and cold weather means I will be using them regularly if you suffer severe pain on heavy meds I'd suggest you talk to the doctor and or try these out the machines are cheaper here they are advertised as stimulation if you look at pictures but I promise you that they help. I bought mine in Lloyd's pharmacy small hand held but has clip attachment looking exactly like the ones on site but I paid triple the amount.i definitely recommend them and will be buying on a regular basis
